Default Exhaust Leak at WB

Would a small exhaust leak at the wideband boss be problematic? Is there a way to test whether it's leaking? Couldn't run a good bead when welding the boss to the collector and it turned out looking like a tumor. Headers were on the car and it was up on jackstands. Not a good welding project for a beginner.

You will not get an accurate reading if there is a leak. You can usually hear the leak or see a black trace where it is leaking after a bit.

Thanks for the reply. An inaccuracy pretty much defeats the purpose of having it.

I will hold a rage on the tailpipe for a few seconds and listen for leaks.
