Default Hitting rev limiter on 2-3 shift with built trans

I've been working on a guy's tune, he has a 1998 Z28 Camaro with a fast intake, bolt ons, performabuilt level 3 60e and a 4000rpm stall converter. I can't keep it from hitting the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift. I've raised the rev limiter, lowered the shift point, lowered shift speed, raised commanded pressure, reduced shift times, almost everything it seems. Nothing changes the shift, it hits the limiter a couple times before shifting to 3rd. 1-2 shift is fine. Pretty confused

Post the tune and a scan log of it doing it.

You can also try zeroing out the MPH data to see if it shifts. Did you change the downshift MPH? Did you adjust all of your MPH tables?

Post the tune. I would bet you missed a table...

I probably did miss a table. I try to do 10 minute troubleshooting sessions because its hard to get a few hours to sit down and do it. I'm not sure what config file I used The fuel cut is at the end of the log. Thanks.

All of your part throttle shift speeds are higher than your full throttle speeds. Part throttle goes all the way to 100% throttle so those have to be adjested also in all three columns.

Which table, normal part throttle? I tried adjusting part throttle to where 100% matched WOT and interpolated to lower TPS, but it didn't change anything. I had just changed it back. Were you talking about another table?

Ok, update on this... So whenever he shifts to race, he puts it in gear manually instead of of the kickdown at WOT from 3rd or 4th. Putting it in gear like that causes it to hit the rev limiter. BUT, when he lets it downshift normally, it doesn't do it. It still has a tiny bit of hang when upshifting 2-3 after a normal downshift, but my truck does the same thing on the 2-3 shift so it feels normal to me. Experience with this?

Experience with manually engaging 2nd, going WOT, then trying to manually shift third? Yeah, it doesn't work. As soon as he goes WOT he should shift to D and let the computer take over. There is an extreme delay between moving the selector and the shift actually taking place.

I had him read through this thread, so he'll be doing that from now on. Personally I leave mine in 3rd and let it downshift normally because it helps get the turbo moving. But he likes it in manual 2nd where it flashes the converter nicely. We both have the same shift delay, though. It will sit at the top of 2nd gear just long enough to let you know there is a delay happening, then it shifts to 3rd. Is there a fix for this, or is it just something that non race-specific transmissions do? I don't mind the small delay, but I want to make sure his is shifting how he likes it. Maybe a small bit of torque management would allow the trans to shift quicker?
