Default maf/tunning question

(98 camaro) is there a maf thats being used for tuning ls1's i heard that a zo6(dont know year) is a larger mm and reads true. currently have slp i know it doesn't meeter or translate real #'s.

You use the stock MAF and correct it using a wideband (same procedure as you do for correcting the VE).

If you change MAF and/or duct, then you have to do the correction again.

Find a MAF that physically fits, then get the MAF table corrected (using a wideband),

As a start get a clean Delphi MAF and use a Delphi MAF
table. You ought to be within 5% of dead-on unless you are
looking at a really big cam at low RPM, or have a crazy
bent intake plumbing right before the MAF face and no
screen.
