Anyone using Megasquirt 2 with 58x for ignition?

Anyone using Megasquirt 2 with 58x for ignition? I have an 07 LY6 with 4x cam gear(removed vvt) and 58x crank, can I drive the stock coils with MS2? I dont find anything searching here or the google...would I be better off using an MSD6012? I have one but was wanting to use the knock sensors with MS2 if possible, the MSD doesnt have that option.

You will probably want to use MS3
MS3 features sequential fueling and ignition, as well as the 58x crank trigger.
