Default MAF lbs/minute at idle?

My car threw a P0102 (MAF).
The sensor reads 1.6-2.0 lbs/minute at idle in open loop. Is this normal, or do I need a new MAF? It seems high. Engine is LQ4 with LS3 heads, 222/230 .570 cam.
I ask because the wire running to the MAF got caught in the belt and the 12v and ground crossed, blowing a fuse in the car. Could I have burnt out the MAF in doing so?
