Does this seem like a big piece of **** or a good investment?
All the reviews say that it doesn't work with fords. some people swear by it and others swear at it. Just wondering if anyone has bought one of these yet?

fairly common economy bluetooth obd2 scanner. paired with a program like torque for android, it will read error codes and give you live sensor data. the refresh rate's a bit slow with these adapters and occasionally have connection issues, so i wouldnt use it for datalogging. but very happy with my setup and its much better than any handheld scanner you'd get for even double the price

I have one from ebay for $30. As mentioned with Torque for Android it works well to read/clear codes and can export a data log to a .csv for use in Excel. I have HP Tuners so I only use it for a quick scan/clear but I've had no issues with connections etc. Well worth $30 in my book.
