As a novice, I would recommend the HP Tuners. The HP Tuners user interface seems to be a little more user friendly than EFI Live, however I think EFI Live is preferred by the professionals.

Honestly, I would look into meeting up with someone that uses each program and see how it works in real time rather than try to get an idea using the trial downloads.

Where are you located? Will you be tuning your own vehicles or tuning customer cars?

You'll find that both have all the params needs to do the proper tuning for the LT1 conversion.

im only tunning mine for now. but mine has pretty good tune but i want to fine tune it and start bumping up the boost.
