Default EFI Live license?

I purchased efi live and a wideband setup for my car years ago and recently hooked it up to my truck just to use the diagnostics and see if there was anything wrong with it. I know when I bought the setup it came with two license but I can't find the box that had the instructions license extra in it. I figured I was going to have to purchase another license code for my truck even though I never used the second one. Anyway, I made a few changes to the stock tune and tried to flash it in expecting it to ask for a license code which I've lost but it didn't. The tune flashed in as normal just like with my car. I'm guessing it used my second license? I'm fine with that but was just wondering if that is normal as I expected to have to enter in the second license.

If you open the efi live tuner and go to help you should see something for V1 licensing and V2 licensing pick the one you have and it should show you if you have any licenses left.

Also some 97-98 vehicles were free with efi live so if you truck falls into that category that may be why it didnt ask for any info.

It would have asked you are you sure you want to license this pcm before you could have flashed it. You would have then had to click ok to license it then have to click to actually flash the pcm.

I have flashed a friends ls1 swap chevelle with the 98 pcm for free a couple times. I assumed it was just because I was only changing transmission points. Good info.

If it didn't ask you and you didn't have to approve it, it didn't use a license.

Does anyone have a list of the 97-98 free vehicles? Never heard of this.
