Default 383 LT1 PCM problem?

I have a 94 Z28 with 383 LT1 dyno tuned 400rwhp. a few months ago the car began acting up (spitting and sputtering, stalling ect..) it stalled and now i cannot make it run. after stying to start it it floods the cylinders with fuel causing it to vapor lock (wont turn over). i have pulled all the spark plugs rolled it over to remove the excees fuel, and replaced them. i tried again same result. pulled the plugs again and discovered that 5 of the 8 cylinders are getting washed right out. the other 3 are not getting fuel at all. I believe that my PCM went bad. Is the pcm the only thing that would control the injectors? Any help would be greatly appriciated

wow...that certainly seems crazy. I cant imagine the opti causing that but it wouldnt really surprise me either. If the pcm were told....false information, from the opti....then it could happen I guesss....and not be the pcm.

The easy thing to do is copy your tune...(if its not already) swap a known good pcm...and upload your tune. Way easier then swapping plugs.

Make sure the fuel pressure regulator isn't leaking and filling the cyls through the vacuum line. Try unplugging the injectors and see what happens that would rule out the pcm controlling them.

Glad to help. Doesn't happen often but have heard of it before.
