Default Bucking and surging?

Big cams cause this and there's only so much one can tune out, but what are your findings? I'm asking about overlap? Is say 15* of overlap too much to completely tune out?

depends on the size of the motor... but for example 346 with a cam with 15 degrees of overlap will likely always buck to a degree at and under 1500 rpm... you can generally clean it up with timing adjustments to a degree, but thats about it (assuming maf/ve is dialed in)

So would 15* in a 402 behave the same or better?
