I have a question on changing TC lockup.
when In Edit how do you go about changing lockup in 3rd gear. I would like for it not to lock up untill fourth.
right now when it shifts into Fourth it is allready locked up, and it wants to release and lockup and then release and lock up again.
figured I could keep it unlocked in third and just have it lock up in fourth.
when changing this do I need to change the third gear apply cells, and the third gear release cells or just the 3rd gear apply cells.
and do I do this for all 3 tables
Normal mode MPh vs.%TPS
Performance mode MPh vs.%TPS
Cruise mode MPh vs.%TPS

ok so I want to change each table
Normal
Performance, and
Cruise
right.
just double checking, I have already changed the Normal table to what my 2nd gear is set at, which is 226

correct, i think the computer is seeing to much stall and is mistaking it for misfires so its
locking and unlocking the TC in fourth, i want to see if this will correct my problem

01 Thunder, may I ride your post also as I have a tc lock and unlock problem? problem being after tc locks at about 40 mph or so if I slow down to cruse at 36-41 mph ( if cruse at this speed before tc lockup all ok ) car will snap and jerk somewhat I need to know which/all tables/values I may change to stop this problem, was able to help this some by going to PE-RPM and mulitly 1200-1600-2000 by 101 percent .think tc lockup is problem , hope this is not confusing thanks Johnny

ss slp2, i logged about everything but iac counts, you sure you are not dropping below the in gear rpm level (locked up) causing the IAC to buck wild?
