Default just got a-tap, where can i learn all the lingo?

just looking for a website or something that can tell me how to read / analyze all the data. My car is really slow for some reason and it has been for a while. no codes or anything just crappy power looking for cure.

Also, it is version 2.0 or something and not gm enhanced i believe. I read that the non gm enhanced doesn't show knock retard but mine does but i havn't seen it move off zero. So if i have something as an option does that mean i can read it for sure.

It's confusing me with all the ltrim stuff and there's a million misfire boxes you can click.

thanks

I'm pretty much in the same boat with you. I've been reading up all over the web and am starting to figure out most of it. Here's a few more links you can visit to read.

LS1Tuning.com
hptuners.com
http://ls1edit.slowcar.net/tuning.html
http://smiley.tzo.com/fbody/atap/
http://teamzr1.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

I've just been reading alot and today did some logging and exported it to excel so now I'm ready to start learning what everything means.

I am not even concerned about understanding my EFIlive yet. I will more than likely just use it to help someone else do a tune on my car, rather than trying to understand it before I can change any parameters and see real world effects.

cool, thanks for the links. I got a wideband unit (lm-1) and a maft so I'm just going to do some basic stuff as well, I don't have a editing program so hopefully i can't screw up to much, lol...

Good luck to you guys but I'm taking a different route. I'm going to use edit as soon as I get a-tap figured out and jump right in. I want to know how to tune it all myself without relying on someone to do it for me. Majority of it is just reading then the rest you only learn by doing. Just start small and work your way up.
