Exhaust temp gauge sensor mounting.

Anyone with this gauge, are you mounting on either side exhaust manifold/header? Or are you mounting a little farther downstream?

i have mine on the #7 and #8 cyls right at the flange by the head. maybe an inch out on the tube.
