Cheapest/easiest way to tune an LS1?
Hey guys, got my car back together, love it, sounds great and all, but it runs poorly still, its much worse than when it was basically stock. I think tuning may be the answer. Whats the best route to go? Thanks!

well.. best and most inexpensive way would be to have a shop dyno tune it... (not sure where either of you are located)
Other options are mail order PCMs from various sponsors or a diablo Predator w/a custom tune from diablo sport...
If you want to do it all yourself then i'd go w/HP Tuners software ... scanner and PCM editing tool all in 1 ... but takes more skill to be able to do it on your own...

Good to hear you got it done. I bet it sounds wicked
A dyno tune would probably be the easiest way to go but that will be around 500 bucks. Edit is a tad pricey but if you had a couple buddies to chip in on a 3 user license, it's would be about 250 each.
I'm not familiar with the HP tuners software but it sounds promising.
If you do end up buying edit, I have my old hotcam edit file that you could look at for reference.
