Question Standalone or Tuned PCM?

Hey everyone doing a 383 stroker kit on my LS1. Wondering if you guys recommend a standalone or rather a tuned pcm?

money isn't really too much of a concern because I want to do it once and I want to do it right.

please get back to me thanks,
Christian

Stock computer is fine to tune off of for almost any application. As long as it is properly tuned. There are quite a few tuner sponsors that can get you set up, even all the way in the frozen north! And there is also champion motors up there. They do alot of good stuff.

Tuned stock PCM is adequate - standalone is definitely not needed...

Thanks for the reply.
I don't mind Rob at Champion Motors up here because I know he knows what he is talking about but whenever you call for pricing and then call back later he gives different prices.

Understandable. That is the best thing about LS1Tech. You have lots of options.

You'll be fine with the stock ecu on that setup.
