Default Tuning Software Updates

I'm not all about starting crap but I'm very curious what is going on with each company. Anyone have any insights or yearly reports? Are programmers hard to come by at HPTuners?

EFI Lives latest update was April 12th 2012 (NON-BETA) full public release

HPTuners latest update was June 26th 2008 (NON-BETA) full public release

I seem to see an increasing car tuning capability between the two that keeps getting bigger and bigger. Either there is going to be one hell of a release in the upcoming times or I guess it will just be adding cars I hope.

or am I missing something with the 2.23 beta release of hptuners? (I don't and haven't used the beta at all)

so we haven't been sitting on our hands over the last few years, we've just had to make alot of large code changes to both the editor and scanner that we've pretty much rebuilt each of scratch in preparation for dodge support. So yes it'll be a pretty big release once it goes public but its currently pretty stable as it sits.

i had heard bits and pieces of things yall had been up to in the beta but did not realize that huge list you have there. I have never used the beta versions, I might have to try and test along with the others.

HPTuners Beta is basically a "continually updated but not technically supported because it's technically a beta" current version. I update my HPT Beta software all the time, it seems like it gets something new once or twice a week, lol. And it pretty much never has bugs, maybe once in a while on a brand new OS the table will be labeled wrong or something.

The real actual new version of HPT must be a total game changer because it's been under development since the last carburator was installed at the factory....
