GMPP Gen IV Harness and Gen III LS6

GMPP Gen IV Harness and Gen III LS6
I can get a complete GMPP LS3/GenIV harness and PCM for about $600 - guy bought it and never used it.
We are dropping an LS6/4L60E into a 1950 ford pickup.
Is it possible, or worthwhile, to convert the Gen IV harness to accept the Gen III engine (does anyone make a 24x-58x converter?)?
Would we be better off buying a completeGen III/ 4L60e harness and PCM from someone like Speartech or PSI??
Thanks in Advance!!

Answer my question!
Lingenfelter has a 24x to 58x conversion module for installing any early LS into late model - newer PCMs (2006 and up). Was shown at 2011 SEMA.

that lingenfelter module is no good for your application... you need to go from a 24x signal to a 58 x ECU if you were to try and use that harness with its ecu... it would be far better/cost effective to just source the right stuff first up instead of trying to save a dollar (it will always come back and bite you)
