pop in the intake

pop in the intake not always but some time when i leave a stop light my car will pop in the intake as i push on the gas, 402 with fast 102 intake, t/b,100maf 236-242 cam, when it happens i look quick at my air fuel ratio meter and i see 16.00. what is happening?

car seems to run fine, if it was a carb engine i would say that the accelerator pump was not pumping enough fuel and going lean, is there an adjustment in the tune for this?
