Shift Adaptation Time Programming - Minimum
I read in the LS1-Edit manual a vague warning about
how setting the shift cycle time params to zero "may
accelerate transmission wear".
When I downloaded and viewed my Predator tune w/
user adjustments from my PCM on my first evening w/
HPTuners, I found that my -20% - 25% adaptation time
settings read 0.0 for all of the delays. Same can be seen
in the "Performance" transmission tables (unused) - 0.0s.
So has anyone every had a problem from zeroing these
delays, really? The settings caused me no trouble and
no sign of tranny "confusion".
It's odd that the Predator "-25%" took the 0.3 second delay
in the stock PCM down to zero, but it sure felt / ran better.
