Does it even show a monitor for the egr on 2001+ cars because they didn't come with it. I need to know this to figure out what to do with my situation here. If it does show up does it just come up as ready?

Bump... come on I just need to know someone on here has to have owned a 2001+ f body and have seen the monitors, how many and if the EGR one was there.

Not quite sure if thats what I am looking for .... I have a little hand scan tool that cost me 60 bucks(not EFI live). I am suppose to have a tune for a 2001 but it shows on the little scan tool the egr monitor is set to ready... so does that mean the tune is wrong or is that normal for it to say that even though the car doesnt have it?

Sorry I have to bump this one. The GM technical data says that on their software (or a tuning software like shown above) will state its not supported. I just need to know what a scan tool would normally see (ie: monitor is set to ready or is it not even there or is it say egr not supported). Sorry to bring this back but the answers are vague on this question.
