Default speed density tune

speed density tune pros and cons??? im going through speedinc im upgrading to larger headers, larger air lid, remove MAF, cutouts.. im running a LS3 416 with trickflow 235 heads, port 92 fast intake. they promise me around 30 rwhp more... any truth to this?

Idk if theres truth to that but I can say I am far happier running a sd tune vs a maf tune. Car has great driveability. Better than it was with a maf. It may very well be possible to gain 30 hp if your maf is pegged

A SD tune will only make more hp IF your MAF was a restriction and you remove and replace it with a larger diameter pipe. Just doing a SD will not make anymore hp.

You'll pick up HP with all the other mods, but little if any of it will be from switching to the SD tune.

You may get better throttle response and drivability with the SD tune if they do a reasonable job.

If a tune is done right you can not tell any difference between SD or a normal tune.
