two issues in lsx conversion
ok so i swapped my whole drivetrain from my truck into a mustang and for some reason i cant read my codes with the motor running only with the key on engine off. also i have a Mass air flow sensor low input code which i never had before i swapped it with another one and as soon as i start it the code comes back. not sure why i cant access the ecm with the motor running im using a snap on solus ultra its always worked fine before just confused

well ive got key on power to the two pink wires pin 19+75 on blue connector
constant power to the two orange wires pin 20+57 on blue connector
my serial data wire is pin 58 on blue connector
brake switch is pin 33 on blue connector
also im using the same air tube the truck had and the truck never had a maf code... i thinking maybe a wire pulled out of the ecm connector also there are no 02 sensors in the car as of yet not sure if that will throw off the MAF but there are no o2 sensor codes

soo scanning issue solved. datalink connector was junk.. soldered in a new one and i can scan it fine. i do still have two codes tho, Mass air and MIL Light. i know the mil light is because i dont have that hooked up but thats fine i need to get the maf code under control. when i go in with my solus ultra i can watch the maf and it holds at .28 or .29v never changes. is that because i dont have the front o2 sensors installed yet?

so all issues are fixed exluding.the fact that i can only scan the ecm without the motor running. i swapped to a m6 ecm and it scanned fine but the car is auto so i cant leave it in there. is the ecm just burnt. the car still runs mint my only issue is i cant scan or get data with it running
