I'm about to switch over to a 2 bar tune and my question is am I able to swap out my currect 1 bar map too a 2bar map and still be able to drive my car to my tuner without having and issues. Now I don't plan on going into boost or anything. just want to make sure I won't have an issuses.

No, you will have to wait to install the new MAP sensor until the tuner can put the 2 Bar operating system in - there are MAP scalers that have to be changed for it to even run with the new MAP sensor...

You can actually install it but leave it unplugged. The car will throw a MAP sensor failure code. As long as the car has a properly working MAF the car will run fine off it.

As said, once you plug in the new 2 bar MAP it will need to be tuned.

What if I install the 2 bar MAP and the 2 bar OS at the same time. Will the car run and drive till I get it to the tuner? Is there anyone on this forum that could help out with a base tune just to make the car run till its tuned.

I have HPTuners. And will be installing 2 t70's and 80# injectors next week. Running 8psi.
