Default Where to get Wideband o2?

I want a wideband o2 sensor for my car, I'd like to get one that I can watch live as I'm going down the road and tune the car on the street and watch it during racing.

Is there anything available for me?

Can these be used for any period of time? Or just for short periods?

You can run it full time. I have this setup-> FJO Wideband O2 and it's always on - have the gauge in a pillar pod. FWIW.

I have one along with the "rpm converter". Works great. Welded an 02 bung in the y-pipe and wired it direct to the battery. I leave the unit on and have another switch wired in line to take the constant on/off duty. Just have to remember to turn it on/off each time. No worse then remembering to turn off traction control.

Some guys wire it to a switched 12 volt so it comes on when you start the car. The only problem is you need it to only turn on after the car cranks and starts due to possible voltage spikes while cranking. I haven't been following how they've accomplished this but I think they figured something out.

Thanks for the information guys! I definately appreciate it.

I think I am going to get one, should be a very handy tool and I am kind of a worrier, so it will make me feel better being able to keep my eye on it.

I just bought the brand new Dynojet Wideband Commander system from Xtreme motrsports for less then the prices I saw on FJO's website. Comes with an autometer gauge, onboard logging, USB interface and PC software to log along with TPS and RPM.

Anyone use the MachV unit?

There are 2 analog outputs from the control box the first is a 0-5v readout that will feed just about any stand alone Engine Management Systems or dataloggers and a 0-1v output which will feed your stock ECU so you only have to use 1 O2 sensor. No welding an extra bung on here!
$349

And...

Narrowband to Wideband Gauge ConverterThis device allows the wideband output signal from the above wideband kit to feed a narrowband o2 sensor like the offerings from Autometer. You could simply use the narrowband output from the wideband kit but it simulates what the stock ECU wants to see and the o2 gauge will continue to be very erratic. With this device it drops the 0-5v output to a linear 0-1v output and thus your blinky light o2 gauge will suddenly be.... accurate!
$44

I saw the Dynojet info - looks like a very nice package. The pricing on FJO's has come down quite a bit in the past year and a half- competition is good! .

This wide band commander thing is neat, but I think I am going to go with the Innovate Motorsports unit. Closer the money I want to spend.

When I tried to view the pricing sheet on FJO's
page my browser got into some jiggy page loop.
I have also seen today dynotune.org ($429)
and innovate ($349 + ala carte) and the dynojet
($549?) and of them I like the looks of the
Innovate better, as I would keep it as a loose
tool for using on my own and others only as
needed. I'm waiting for the next special.
