Default What values to shoot for? KR = 0, etc...

I was wondering what values are the "TARGET" values
for a good tune?

What parameters should be looked at?
KR, LTFT, etc

I don't know that the numbers I am getting are "good"
or need adjustment?

Example:
Normal driving
-----------------
Knock retard = 0
Degrees of timing = 20
etc...

WOT driving
------------
Degrees of timing = 28
Knock retard = 0
LTFT = 0
etc....

thanks

Default

LTFTs should be low single digits negative in
part throttle driving, shouldn't be more than
-8 to -10 at idle, and lock in zeroes at WOT.

KR should never show up. You might tolerate
some transient KR on shifts, this is the last
to go away.

WOT O2s should be above 850mV, below 920mV,
many seem to get best around 890-900mV WOT
but this is only a sloppy indicator. Spark should be
set to whatever a proper A/F mixture will handle.
Proper A/F on these cars is about 12.8:1 though
some do well up to 13:1 and stuff like nitrous
would want you to go more like 12.5:1 or lower
for safety. 30 degrees seems to be the max
that people get away with, at the upper RPM.
Some run more spark in the midband and pull
it back out at high RPM, you could finesse this
if you have a do-all kind of tuner software
(just keep logging for knock on WOT pulls,
add spark @ RPM if it doesn't, subtract if it
does).

Fan settings to make your ECT consistent are
key to being able to tune right up to the edge.
You want the thermostat, not the fans, to be
in charge. I like to run low speed fans full time
and high speed fans right above normal stable
ECT as a backstop.
