Default Speed Density and wideband question

If I am running an open loop SD tune, I can just delete one of my stock o2 and replace it with my wideband right?

As its running in Speed Density and the long term fuel trim is turned off the stock o2's are effectively doing nothing correct?

Is it open loop speed density or closed loop speed density? Speed density means you are not using a MAF... Open loop would not use O2 sensor feedback (or LTFTs) and closed loop would use O2 sensor feedback...

just because LTFT are off doesn't mean the O2 sensors are doing nothing, they still monitor STFT.

to do it, you should really remove both NB O2 sensors, plug one bung and use the other for your WB (driver side, IMO).

Run OL in the tune and also disable all codes related to O2 sensors.

Well I figured the o2 functions were turned off because onetime when i popped my hood and I saw where the o2 extension caught some road debris because it was completely missing, car didn't run any differently or throw a code.

I run open loop, wideband in the driver's side bung, and bung plugs in all other holes. No NBO2's here.

It's all in how you prefer to tune your car. If you're not the one tuning your car, you better make damn sure that you and your tuner are on the same page though.

Cool, I'm pretty sure I'm good to go. I am going to give my tuner a call and see if he will pull my file and double check everything for me, before I dive into this. I know a local guy with the tuning software and we can make the changes if they are needed.

Thanks guys
