Have a chance to buy this 6.2. I have 5.3 now with an 0411 pcm. Could this pcm run this engine or do i need a different pcm? I have access to hp tuners if i can change parameters for this engine but i do not know if i can? What has to be done to make this work? I plan on eventually going with a turbo on the 6.2 if this matters. The 5.3 now is a 01 model. Thanks

I don't think it can run it. You would need the 6.2 computer and all because of the VVT. Or you could remove all of that and run the PCM in your truck

Are the knock sensors for the 5.3 in the lifter valley? The 6.2 ltr. engine has knock sensors on the side of the block, so the harmonics it listens for are different.

You can use it, but you need a 58x-24x converter box to use the 0411 PCM and a good tune
