CHanges required to go from a 2001 5.3L to a 2009 5.3L Its in my friends 01 silverado. What are the differences and what modifications are required? I thought i read about the cam sensor???? What other changes are there if there are any?

The 01 has a 24X crank signal and the 09 has 58X crank signal. You would need this http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...gory_Code=C163 for the 01 pcm to run the motor
