Default Transmission Tuning - Shift & TCC Philosophy

Tuning transmission part-throttle shifts and TCC
apply/release seems pretty easy to get tangled
up. Wondering if anyone who's gone down this
road could express a "general philosophy" of how
the best "feel" is obtained - how you set your
TC lock / unlock relative to downshifts and
upshifts, shift-from and shift-to speeds, etc.

It seems like you'd want TCC unlock at less
TPS (@ same speed in gear) than downshift, and
TCC lock at more speed (@ same TPS, in next gear)
than the upshift will put you? Or something like?

Just trying to get this mapped out to play; so far
I've just gotten as far as "different" and a little bit
of "kooky". Happy with the up/downshifts but not
getting the broader relationship w/ the converter
clutch to line up conceptually.
