Default Help with a green wire to the MAP ?

I have a mustang with a LQ4 and a 76mm turbo that uses the stock F-body comp with hp tuners. Car also has a MSD 7562 programmable boost control. Who ever wired it has a green wire from the pcm going to the center wire on the map sensor that plugs into the 3 bar map that goes to the boost control. My Msd boost control went dead so I sent it in, now the green wire is just there and unplugged and the car wont run. When the MSD was there, and the power turned off, and when it went dead, the car still ran, so what should I do with this green wire? What is it for? I really appreciate any help anyone can give, thanks.

I just chased the wire to the comp, its in the red side in #32. Its the stock map sensor wire, but whoever wired it has it spliced into the 3 bar for the MSD boost control. Is this correct?
