Default Tuners or people who live in altitude come in

Going to Colorado in a month for vacation. Thinking about taking my Ta for some mountain fun! I know how altitude affected my truck when I go elk hunting! Is it going to make my car run like ****? If so is there anything I can do to adjust tune to help?

Exactly. If your car is in a good state of tune currently, should be no problems.

Really! Every Truck I ever took out there acted strange when you get up about 8,000 ft. Loss of power and would just run different and they were stock! Nothing on my car is stock. Sure seems like the loss in air density would stare out the bird! I mean I'm in great shape but I can't run 5 miles in altitude like I can here Mo. due to lack of O2!

Of course, less available air = less power. Fuel trims will adjust accordingly. But as far as anything that you can do about it, I see no way to "tune" the power loss out. Then again, the solution for everything is to boost it!
