Default A4 Short shifting

I've got a locally fresh built up 4l60e that runs great. I frequently get it short shifting 2-3. I've got fairly well tuned transmission tables, part throttle and WOT settings. All other behavior seems good. Now, I took the path of having the WOT mph settings WAY low (10/20/30) to have rpm govern, at least initially. Set that way, I would shift around 6100rpm with a 6400rpm setting. I then set mph up to be equivalent to the rpm setting (including part throttle at higher tps), with a 6300 rpm shift, kind of assuming that if it starts to work right, you have to set rpm a bit lower than where you really want to shift. My first two WOT 2nd shifted at 5850 and 6000rpm. (easily noticeable when happening and logged with Ease). I then tried two more runs a few minutes later and got what I was supposed to ~6350, maybe a hair more. I have to test more to see if the first 2 were a fluke. But just maybe the pcm does something a bit more complicated than 'must meet rpm & mph' ....... Any experience or help? I'll report back with more testing.

All tables except the one that comes with the 2xx mph stock. Also, I always have part throttle, top few tps settings at the equiv. mph of where I want wot shift, even when the front page was set to 10/20/30mph. I'd love to know how the 100% tps part throttle table relates to the front- seems duplicative....
