98 z28 to a 02 computer and wiring harness

But chassis harness, engine harness, dash cluster and a few different engine sensors I can't remember switch ones.. coolant temp, maybe crank and can? I can look tomorrow

All you need to do is repin your existing 98 harness. No need to go and replace it and your factory cluster etc will still work correctly with the pcm swap.
Find a pcm connector pin out for your 98 and one for a 02. The 02 computer will be a 12220411 svc number. Grab a set of connector shells for any 99 up silverado or f car also. I think you might can reuse your 98 connector shells just dont remember been 10 years since I did the last one.
Then move one wire at a time from the 98 pinout to the matching 02 pinout and when you are done it will work perfectly. Be sure to get vats disabled or it will not start when you are finished.
