MEFI 4 Tuning
Hey.
I have a LS6 engine with a MEFI 4B controller and Ingenius 2.2 software.
The engine has been upgraded with:
AFR 210 V2
Comp cam 228/230 112
Fast 102 Intake/TB
XS headers
But now i am having problems tuning the idle.
It will start and run properly with correct fuel and spark advance, and the engine sounds healthy. But whenever i give it some throttle/rev the engine and then back to idle it sounds like the engine i struggling and the spark is down to 0 degrees. Then it slowly comes back to the normal spark advance at idle, roughly 20-22 degrees.
What i have figured out is that the spark stabilizer is retarding spark way to much and that it is way to slow too give the engine back its spark advance from the main spark table.
So my question is, is there anyway i can limit the "spark stabilizer" area of operation? For example limit the spark stabilizer to only retard or advance the timing with 5 degrees?
By the way i am using Painless perfect Ingenius 2.2 software.
Best regards
