Default LC-1 not doing anything at all

I hooked it up per instructions. I put all the grounds on a common point and tested my key-on wire prior and post installation.

I soldered the yellow wire to the purple wire of the factory o2 plug.

1st off, the LED is defective. So i went trough the calibration procedures by measuring seconds. Afterwards, i can feel the sensor warming up like it's supposed to, but it reads 447mv with almost no changes. I havent hooked it up to the black box yet, so i don't know it the whole thing is a piece of **** or if I'm doing something incorrectly.

I didn't solder any wires to factory anything. Are you using it to simulate narrow band for ECM?

Also you mentioned all the grounds. You didn't permanently ground the black calibration wire did you? Only the blue and white should be grounded. If using it to simulate the factory narrow band, they should be grounded in the same place as the factory narrow band harness.

I soldered the yellow (narrow band simulator) wire to the factory plug and plugged it into the factory O2 plug for the ECM to read.

No i didnt wire the calibration wire directly to ground.

When you say haven't hooked it up to the black box do you mean the computer? Also did you plug in the little terminator plug to the "IN" cable?

Did you connect the LC-1 white wire to pin A (signal lo) on the NBO2 connector...?

No only the yellow wire to signal high and the white wire to ground.

The fact the LED (light emitting diode) isn't working is curious. They are extremely reliable. Because it is a diode it mostly "blocks" current in one direction and acts like a short in the other. Are you absolutely positive you have it hooked up in the right polarity? If it's backwards your LC-1 won't work.

I already got a new LED from radio shack. It was defective. The calibration process worked fine without it.

So i ran the white wire to pin A on the NBO2 plug. Now it reads fine and goes into CL as expected.
