Default rich at idle

answers to this please. Flo-tech long tubes, off road Y-pipe, comp 212-218 cam 5.3heads 2.02-1.57 shaved 30 ported maf. Runs rich at idle and idles at 500 rpm. Do I drill a larger hole in throttle plate or get a tune or what? Your opinions please.

How do you know it's running rich at idle?

B1S1 and B2S1 O2 readings?
Ltrim readings?

If it's only because it smells rich then welcome to world of more overlap. Raising the idle speed will help this a bit.

Drilling a larger hole will not effect idle mixture. It will effect IAC pintel position....which very well may need help if you raise the idle.
