Slight Surging
Hey guys, I noticed when its cold out especially on a cold start my car runs somewhat rough. Even when it warms up its still kind of surging. When I had the car tuned it was a 90* day in the summer. Could the fact it was tuned in the summer have anything to do with it running rougher this time of year? Or do you think theres something else to be looking at? No check engine lights either.

Cat light off tables are still probably left on in the tune, and the car just needs a bit more airflow. Try opening up your throttle blade a turn. Count how much you change it just in case you have to change it back. If the opening of the throttle helped, then the tuner just needs to add more desired airflow on the LOWER temps that where not setup.

Particularly in open loop, you may have too much
cold enrichment. Rich = unstable idle. I had to peel
off a lot of enrichment in the open loop EQ table to
settle that down.
This kind of thing is slow going to tune, you need cold
weather and then have only a few minutes to play
around before it's warmed up and then you have to
let it rest & chill again.
