Default Any advantage from a Frost tune on almost stock ride?

Just wondering, what type of gains with a tune are you looking at on a 02 TA with just a FTI3000 stall, lid,K&N and ported TB/MAF. Would a Frost tune be worth it? Better drivability? This is a DD. Not looking to do full exhaust for about a year, maybe a cat back soon.

I have a lid and a catback, and I went ahead and got a frost tune. Made a big difference, especially with the torque management and the shift points/firmness. Very happy that I got it done.

I would say you'd see a noticeable difference from the tune, would likely help even if you were literally bone stock

A properly done tune on a car not only should see an increase in power and torque throughout the rpm range but also a boost in fuel economy. If you do not see both a power increase and your fuel mileage go up find a new tuner because they have no clue what they are talking about or doing.

After having the FTI converter(3000 stall) put in while replacing the rear main seal, the car feels stronger off the line, but as far as passing power, or a strong downshift at 40mph when you get on the gas, the car feels almost stock, and can hardly get out of its own way. Would this change with a tune, or are more mods needed. Car is otherwise stock at this time.
Also, I never had a converter in a stock car, is it normal for the car to seem like its "draging" off the line, where it feels like you have to give it more throttle to get it moving?
