Default Need wiring help!!!

Im using the column out of the 89 blazer and was wondering if anyone could help me with figuring out how to handle using the original ignition and key since I do have it. There is wiring coming out of the bottom of the column but I no jack about wiring so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The general wiring for an ignition switch there are 4 wires.

+12v Batt
Acc
Run
Start

You just need to match up the 4 on your harness to the four on the column. There may be other wires but these are the most important.

Use a multimeter on diode setting.
In the Acc position the +12 batt will create a short to the ACC wire.
In Run you will get a short between ACC, Run and +12 batt.
In start you will get all three but it will be momentary on while the switch is in the Start position.
