Default 2 bar MAP sensor with stock OS?

Is it possible to use a 2 bar MAP sensor with a stock operating system? If so, what in the tune needs to be changed in EFILive?

I am running a 12212156 OS with the MAF and 1 bar MAP on my mild turbo setup. It seems to be running fine, except I can't log boost, it cuts out at 104 kPa. The only reason I would want to use the 2 bar sensor is to log boost. I know the tune will still "max out" at 1 bar. I have a Cobalt sensor (12615136) ready to go in if I can use it.

Thanks!

No, you can't use it with a stock OS... but, the better question is why would you not change it to a 2bar and a custom OS??

gotta get it tuned. you PCM wont know what to do with that MAP cause it wont know what its parameters are and wont be able to adjust.
you got to anyway if you up the injectors which i assume your doing to for whatever your doing lol it should be sticky noted somewhere that 60lbs injectors, 2bar map at a minimum, and a tune should be the starting standard for any boost aplication.

If you really must, then you have to shift down any table that references MAP on its axis...

( in effect you're scaling the 2-bar MAP sensor's 0-200kPa range down to 0-100kPa )

note that the IFR table references MANVAC which is BARO - MAP;

you have to go thru your all your tables carefully looking for this, including the sanity tables (in Engine Diagnostics).

But as BLK02WS6 said, use a COS...

if you do this, you will have to edit the MAP scaler to correctly map the 2-bar range.

12212156 easily upgrades to COS3/02020003 or COS5/02020005.
