Angry Please read ang give input guys....trouble with my swap

I have put a LQ4 from a 2001 truck in my 1970 Camaro. It is up and running...just not right....idle is erratic. I have just found out that the ECM I have is out of a 2003 Corvette w/ drive by wire. My TB is cable driven.....is this causing my problem??? and if so how do I fix it???

The idle sometimes is OK other times it won't idle...almost stalls...then goes to 3000 rpm til you crack the throttle...then keeps dropping off then back to 3000 rpm...and just continues to do this cycle.

Thanks for input guys.

Yes, it is one of your problems.
You need to flash the PCM with a DBC OS to have full IAC control for a good idle.

You need an operating system flashed into the PCM that is for a drive by cable vehicle. That will utilize the IAC motor to control idle air (drive by wire opens the blade instead of using an IAC motor). Any reputable tuner should know what you are talking about and have the ability to change it for you...
