ah.. makes sense. my only hope would be to find a used one.. then prob have to buy credits. Guess i'll shop around for who offers the best perks (shipping, tuning, etc). Thanks guys

For the price of a new unit (comes with 8 credits, a credit is $50, so $50 x 8 = $400, you're only paying $100 for the unit itself basically) vs the price of a used unit with no credits in most cases, you're better off buying a new unit unless the used one is very cheap and you only plan on tuning one vehicle. I just purchased HP Tuners from JWMotoring this weekend as they have free shipping.

Hell yea! it was. I was going to buy used until he threw that price out there. Paid for it on a Friday around 3pm PST, got it Monday afternoon (before 5pm). They're located all the way in NY, shipped to CA that quick. Great business.

If you plan on getting schooled on tuning the thetuningschool.com has package deals with classes that are great. I don't regret going a bit. Just the experience was worth it, much less the knowledge I gained.

I believe here in Houston Chuck's LSX tuning was having specials on HP Tuners. Dont know if Chuck is still having that deal.

I been wanting to find a used hp tuners pro with credits used up or only a few left, every time they pop up its gone quick. :-(. the best deals for a new one I have seen is if you get it in some sort of combo.

considering the same thing there jake. interested in seeing how it does for you. is that aem gauge the failsafe one that lets you trip the motor in the event of a lean out? also is a wideband intended to be permanently installed or is it just for tuning purposes?

We've got widebands set up for both purposes. The standard AEM isn't intended as a failsafe, buy they do offer them. We can make these packages meet your needs any way you need in most cases.

I have a used pro interface I would sell. It has unlimited 2000 camaro and firebird and quite a few credits towards other vehicles. No current credits left though.
