I was working on my tune today trying to get my afr around 13.1:1 got it at 13.8:1 as we speak which is still to lean, but while logging a couple of runs my injectors where hitting 108% dtc. Could this be due to the tune or do I need bigger injectors?

It depends on your power level, but it could also be fuel pressure falling off. You need to log fuel pressure or somehow use a mechanical gauge to be sure the pressure is holding before you suspect the injectors.
