Default tune after new Torque converter

my next mod is going to be a tc in the 4000 stall range. Question is does it need a tune and will a hand held like the Diablo Sport Intune suffice. What has to be chaged is it shift points and firmness? Please any advice would be appreciated

You will need better than Diablo
shift points
line pressure
tcc duty cycle
misfire tables
rev limiter
Mail order would work it would be cheaper also.

I agree 100%, those are the very minimum that would need to be changed.

I bought an fti 3000 stall... of the shelf unit. Ran it at the track in my lid exhaust 3.27 geared 02 z28. Ran 7.9's in the 8th. It flared up bad on the shifts. I had a friend mess with line pressure, shift points, and mph on my ollllld diablo predator. Next time out I ran a 7.50 and it shifted awesome. I wouldn't suggest it though.
