Default Anyone using a Tablet to Log and Tune

I currently use an acer 10" laptop but was looking for something with a touch screen. Has to have 7 or 8 OS for Efi or HPT. There are some nice in car stands for these out there.

Windows 8 is ok after you dump the metro desktop
and put the start button back on it runs just like 7.

Although I have not tried to tune with it.

Interesting.

Do you have any issue with the USB drivers, or the tablet doesn't care as long as its win7?

Running a Dell Latitude 10 tab with win8 pro and hp tuners pro no issues. Tuning from a tablet is kind of a pain as the buttons on hp tuners are not really big enough for my gigantic fingers. I can make small changes but if I am really going to put in work on a tune I use my desktop or hook up a mouse to my tablet.

Tablets for logging rock IMO.

thats the reason I use the Stylus with my tablet..

the software wasnt designed to be used with a tablet...interface was made for a mouse, not fingers..

I agree not really tuning with it with the exception of making small changes at the track. More for the logging and the ease of mounting.

Lots of good car mounts for tablets.....
and the tablet screen is really good for making some gauges that you can see flash red if there is an issue so you can get out of the gas quickly..
