Default HP tuners pro and wideband

I just got hp tuners pro in and I want to set up a permanent install wideband. My question is do I need a controller such as powerdex afx or can I use a wideband sensor wire into the hp tuner interface?

All you need is an analog voltage input. Usually 0-5v. You have to have some type of controller to free air calibrate and convert the WB sensor output to the desired analog output. Something like the LC-1 is the cheapest route. I have been using mine permanently installed for the last 3 years without any issues. I just free air cal it every couple months.

The AFX is the same thing as the LC-1 just with a display. I've read quite a few reviews from folks that prefer the AFX over the LC-1 but until my LC-1 goes out I have no need.

thanks man. which of the wideband controllers would be most accurate? ive done alot of searching but all i come up with is very old threads. i was leaning towards the afx bc ive heard its pretty accurate but does it justify $50 over the lc-1?
