Default Rev limiter adjust?

I'm using Tuner Cat/Jet DST, does anyone know where to adjust my rev limit? I have gone through it all especially under fuel tabs in Constants and Tables? I see DFCO in tables, P/N and Rev. Set at 7000 stock? I am sure stock limit is around 5,500? Thanks, Les...

Thanks Ed, that is my question as the stock limit is 7,000 under p/n and rev, is this right? And am I in the right place? Thanks

Exactly my point, that's why I want to lower it as I am "in boost", would like to make sure I am on the right table! Guess I could set it at 3000 and see what happens? Lol

If you are going to race it you will probably want a shift light. If it winds up very fast the factory tach does not come up as fast as the engine, and you will be hitting the rev limiter all the time. Most of my customers with fast stick cars use a shift light or an aftermarket tach.

So, am I on the right tables? I want to use the limiter for overboost protection.

Under System Tables, the Per Gear rev limiters are just what they sound like. The ETC Rev Limiters have nothing to do with an early F body as you don't have an electronic throttle control (Drive by Wire), that table is normally set very high. The Coolant Rev Limiter, I have never seen that table have any effect.

System Constants contains the Park/Neutral & VSS Failure Rev Limiters. Just what they sound like.

As you mentioned earlier, you could just individually set them to 3000 RPM, and learned for yourself which one does what, days ago.

As far as "over boost" control, they will simply cut the injectors off at the RPM you select.

Ok Ed, what about DFCO p/n and rev, under tables, fuel tables? Is this all ETC? As someone else said, stock limit is 6200. The only table that has this is System Parameters under Constants?

Only tables for ETC are labeled ETC. DFCO is Decel Fuel cut-Off, to prevent over fueling when coasting. I have fixed several poor mileage and poor idle upon initial stop issues from previouse "tuners" shutting DFCO off. Can not imagine why. Shops that claim to know what they are doing. LOL
