2 diff ECUs for 2 differnt tunes?

Default 2 diff ECUs for 2 differnt tunes?

would it be worth it to buy another ecu from some were and when i go to get my car tuned have one ecu tuned on E85 and the other 93oct? what would be the easiest way to do this, tune in 93 with low low gas, fill with E85 swap ECUs and tune again?

That's an option, although depowering the PCM will
lose you your fuel and idle trims, etc., every time.

I know there's some folks selling (or used to) PCMs
that were modified with an extra flash memory to let
it hold two tunes, switch-selectable. This might be a
neater way, don't know how costs compare.

Or, just keep writing what you want to run - is the
write time and risk, any worse than the time that
would be spent, and mishaps, of swapping and
reswapping PCM hardware?

EFI Live V2 handheld allows you to store custom
tunes and quickly flash it no laptop needed.

ill have to look into the those pcms then and see if i could find one, i was looking at getting hptuners this summer sometime, not to tune this car as i have no dyno or even close to the knowledge to do so, but mainly to learn off of it by messing with my other ls powered behicle, if i got it could i bring my laptop with me when i got it dyno tuned and have the tuner tune on 93 then save it in my laptop, the. tune on E85 and save that on my laptop also thay way i could just load in ether tune? still new to hptuners and tuning in genral so

Ya of course you could do that. You can save as many tunes as you want Very simple to load either tune would take all of 30 seconds

If you look into frost's stuff, he used to have a dual card PCM that would be activated via the flip of a little toggle switch... You would just flip the switch with the car off, and that would provide the circuit to switch to the other card and essentially have a 2 tune load in 1 PCM...
