After tuning gas pedal works on and off!

After tuning gas pedal works on and off! Hi guys,
I just got my car back from the tuning shop, a 1970 Chevelle with a LS2/4L60E combination.
Before the tuning everything worked fine, about the check engine light.
Now the car starts fine, but when I push the gas pedal all the way down it stops working and throws the check engine light.
Leaving the car switched off for a while the car starts and the gas pedal will work again.
I have disconected the battery to clear the codes. The engine starts fine with no check engine light untill you floor the pedal again.
I can't take the car back to the tuner for another 2 weeks as he is closed for vacation.
You can see I'm I can't wait to try out this car after building the last year.
Hope someone has an idea what to do.
