Default 100mm Maf screens?

I have a customer's car that is a fresh build, but he has the older style TSP 100mm maf (the one without the screen). This car could really benefit from a screen, as the maf is reading all over the place at idle and part throttle.

I've called TSP...no luck there.

Does anyone know where I can source a suitable screen for this maf housing? I've read a few threads, and tried contacting saxonpc.com...but still no luck as of yet. I'm wanting the "honeycomb" style 4:1 cell ratio if possible....

Anyone??

Well, looks like Saxonpc.com came to the rescue after all! Jason even met me at 11pm to deliver the screens (I bought extras)!! Lucky for me that his is business is close to my home....talk about luck!

The screen fit PERFECTLY...but I decided to epoxy it in place for safe measure.

Anyway, just thought I'd post back here in case anyone else runs into this issue.

That's a nicer looking screen than the GM 75mm
and 85mm pieces - much larger honeycomb size.
Do they make these to fit those MAFs?

An alternative could be to put a descreened MAF
further forward in the duct (away from the throttle
and reversion pulses).

That's the one I used on my 100mm MAF on my old car. I also put one in the CAI for my ZL1 and my friend's CTS-V. They really do help on the larger MAFs.

Yes, they're cut to a specific diameter and offer difference ratio/size honeycomb. Good price and ships asap.

It's considerably better now...MAF is not near as jumpy as it was. Something of interest, is that I read somewhere that "ideal" ratio would be 10:1 for the best smoothing of airflow. Saxonpc offers an 8:1 screen but it showed "out of stock" on the website. I have no regrets about the 4:1...it does the job As a side note, Jason even offered to exchange the screens for me if I was not happy.

Apparently, he cuts these pieces himself....so I'd imagine that just about any size is available. Just give him a call to verify....very cool dude.

Can't say enough positive about him.....going WAY above and beyond for even a small sale. Really bailed me out!

I am running Saxon's metal 6:1 screen in my 100mm housing w/ LS7 MAF and it idles really smooth.
